Smothered Halibut

Halibut fillets

1/2 onion, chopped

1/2-1 cube of melted butter or

margarine

1 16oz. container of sour cream

1-2 cans of cream of shrimp soup

lemon juice

 

Arrange the halibut fillets in the

bottom of a baking dish. Lightly brush

with lemon juice and then melted

butter.

 

Sprinkle with salt & pepper or lemon

pepper. Then sprinkle the chopped

onion over the fish.

 

Fold sour cream into undiluted cream of

shrimp soup then cover the fish with

this mixture.

 

Cover w/foil and bake 35-60 minutes

(depending on the thickness of the

halibut) at 350*

 

Serve with rice or pasta.
